300 YEAR CELEBRATION
A Church has existed on the site of the present St Aidan’s for nearly 500 years but this year,2018, we celebrate the 300th anniversary of the building of our present Church.
A number of events are planned, you can learn more about them on this site or in the Church magazine.
No meetings have been arranged yet.
A time to chill out after the working week.
There will be newspapers and magazines, tea and coffee, play and crafts, and bacon balms too.
Every one welcome.
TEA AND CHAT
Monday March 26th at 1.30pm
There will be a short service of Songs of Praise led by pupils of St Aidans primary school followed by tea and cakes and the chance for you to chat with friends.
Services on Easter Sunday, April 1st will be
10.00am Holy Communion (C W )
4.00pm Holy Communion ( B C P )
ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING
This meeting will be held in Church on Sunday April 15th after Morning Service.
All those on the electoral roll of the parish are eligible to vote at the meeting when officials of the Church are elected.
Will be held during the weekend Aug 31st to Sep 2nd as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the building of St Aidans Church.
